Pipe Shield delivers an integrated platform combining cutting-edge robotics, artificial intelligence, edge computing, and blockchain. Our full-stack system is engineered for the complexities of modern energy transport, especially in hydrogen and carbon capture applications.
1. Dual-Inspection Hardware
- SkyScan Drones: Hydrogen-powered UAVs equipped with hyperspectral, thermal, and gas sensors to detect corrosion, cracks, and leaks externally. With up to 3x flight duration compared to battery UAVs, these drones perform large-area inspections cost-effectively.
- PipeCrawler Robots: Internally guided robotic units designed to move through pipelines as small as 6″ in diameter. These robots carry ultrasonic phased-array sensors, MFL coils, and EMAT probes to scan for internal defects and wall degradation.
2. AI & Machine Learning
- Defect Detection: Using YOLOv8, ResNet, and TensorFlow, our models identify structural weaknesses with 95% accuracy.
- Predictive Maintenance: AI forecasts corrosion risks, crack propagation, and hydrogen embrittlement using LSTM time-series models.
